At My Chirocare, your first visit is all about understanding you and your health goals. After completing a registration form, you’ll meet one-on-one with our chiropractor to discuss your concerns, health history, and current wellbeing. If you have any previous X-rays, MRI, CT, ultrasound scans, or reports, feel free to bring them along.

After discussing your concerns and health history, our chiropractor will perform a thorough assessment, which may include postural analysis, spinal and joint assessments, as well as orthopaedic and neurological testing.

Once the assessment is complete, we will explain the findings, answer any questions you may have, and discuss the most appropriate care options for your needs. If needed, additional imaging such as X-rays may be recommended to help guide your care.

Not necessarily. If you already have previous X-rays or imaging reports, feel free to bring them to your first appointment. After reviewing your history and conducting an initial consultation, our chiropractors will determine whether any additional imaging is needed and provide a referral if appropriate.

If there are no contraindications or the need for further imaging, our chiropractor may perform a personalised chiropractic adjustment on your first visit.

At your next visit, we will check in on how your body has been adapting since your first visit and review your assessment results – including any X-rays if you have them. We’ll explain what this means, how your spine and nervous system are responding, and what may be contributing to your symptoms.

Together, we’ll go through your personalised care plan, including how chiropractic care can help, how often you may need care, and what to expect moving forward. There will also be time to answer any questions you may have.

The number of sessions required varies from person to person and depends on factors such as your condition, health goals, and how long the issue has been present. At My Chirocare, any care recommendations are tailored to your individual needs and based on what is clinically appropriate for your situation.

Our chiropractors are Perinatal and Webster certified, a gentle method designed specifically for pregnant patients. We treat mothers throughout all three trimesters and after delivery.

Yes. My Chirocare provides gentle chiropractic care for children from birth onwards, infants for cranial assessments, toddlers and school-age children for posture and developmental support, and teenagers managing sports injuries or the effects of heavy schoolbags. Our paediatric adjustments use very light, controlled pressure.
